The aluminium plinth profile, 0.8 mm thick, is a starter profile for facade insulation systems – the thermal insulation material rests on it at the bottom of the building. The drip edge of the profile directs rainwater away from the ETICS system, so moisture does not get under the insulation or into the insulation itself.
