Caparol Capatect Füllschaum B1 056/00 is a one-component polyurethane foam for facade insulation work. It is used to fill the joints between EPS thermal insulation slabs so that no thermal bridge forms at the joint. The foam cures by reacting with moisture and forms a rigid, airtight joint with low stress.
Key features
- Fire safety class B1 to DIN 4102 – flame-retardant
- The surface is tack-free after about 10 minutes and fully cures in 6–24 hours
- Bonds very well to EPS, PVC, concrete and other building materials
- Temperature resistance from -40 to +90 °C, briefly up to +130 °C
- A 750 ml can yields about 40 l of foam
Where to use
When insulating facades with expanded polystyrene – for filling gaps and joints between EPS slabs.
