Caparol Capatect SockelFlex plinth adhesive and base coat mortar

Caparol Capatect SockelFlex is an organic paste-like dispersion compound for plinth and perimeter thermal insulation slabs. It is used to bond and reinforce the slabs, and also to form a waterproof, moisture-repelling coating. Before use, the compound is mixed with cement at a ratio of 1:1.

Where to use

For bonding and reinforcing plinth and perimeter slabs in the splash zone and below ground – down to 20 cm below the ground surface. The compound is also applied as a waterproofing layer over a mineral reinforcing layer, for example Capatect Klebe- und Armierungsmasse 186 M, and as horizontal moisture protection under window sills in Capatect systems. If the surface will be subject to a heavy mechanical load, a more mechanically resistant plinth base coat mortar is recommended.
