Ceresit CR 65 is a one-component cement mortar for waterproofing buildings and structures against water, applied with a brush or a trowel. It is vapour-permeable, frost-resistant and withstands water pressure of up to 10 m of water column from the positive side and up to 5 m from the negative side.
Key features
- Applied to firm mineral surfaces free of cracks and efflorescence
- Consumption 3–4 kg/m² against ground moisture, 5 kg/m² against infiltration or process water
- Not abrasion-resistant – must be covered with a levelling layer or tiles
- For deformable substrates – flexible Ceresit CR 166, CL 50 or CL 51
Where to use
For waterproofing plinths, interior and exterior building elements (including those in contact with the ground), concrete and masonry structures, cement plaster and floors. Also suitable for the inside of monolithic swimming pools and water tanks, including drinking water tanks, and for waterproofing historic buildings from the negative side.
