Elvi chalk primer is a fine-particle acrylic dispersion primer with an antiseptic additive that contains no organic solvents. It strengthens loose chalk whitewash up to 3 mm thick, so the old layer does not have to be removed – after priming, the surface can be whitewashed, painted or filled. The dried coat is moisture-resistant and vapour-permeable.

Where to use
In interior and exterior work for strengthening chalk whitewash – the chalk layer is saturated through its full thickness by applying the primer several times without waiting for the previous coat to dry completely. Also suitable for concrete, aerated concrete, plaster, plasterboard and brick surfaces before filling and painting.
