Elvi Svensk Rodfarg is a traditional Swedish paint made of water, linseed oil, iron vitriol and iron ore pigments. It forms a breathable, deeply matt Scandinavian-style coating that does not crack or peel, but wears away evenly over the years. The wood can breathe freely and moisture does not accumulate in it, which reduces the risk of mould and fungi.

- Drying time 6–24 h, apply the next coat after 24 h (23 °C, RH 50 %)
- Paint at +8 to +25 °C, thin with water

Where to use
For painting sawn timber – both new and already weathered: facades, fences and other timber structures. It can also be used to renew surfaces previously painted with earth paint.
