Fibo expanded clay concrete lintels, height 185 mm, width 250 mm, length 2690 mm

Fibo lintels are vibro-pressed expanded clay concrete beams with three-dimensional steel reinforcement treated against corrosion. Their widths and properties are matched to Fibo Efekt blocks, which makes them the most convenient solution for openings in external walls and load-bearing structures built from these blocks. The lintels are lightweight and can be installed by hand.

• Laying one course of Fibo Efekt blocks on top of the lintel increases its load-bearing capacity by a factor of 1.5

Where to use

For openings in Fibo Efekt block walls. Choose the lintel according to the dimensions of the opening and wall, and the load. The lintels are designed for distributed loads; when 3–4 courses of blocks are laid above them, an arching effect forms and most of the load is transferred to the masonry. The lintel may only be installed with the side indicated by the arrow facing upwards.
