Isover Facade wind barrier slab with tongue-and-groove edges, 1200×1800 mm

Isover Facade is a semi-rigid slab made of an inorganic material that serves as both thermal insulation and wind protection. The long edges have a tongue-and-groove joint, so the slabs lock together tightly and no gaps form in the joints.

• Thermal conductivity λD 0.031 W/mK
• Fire safety class A2-s1, d0 – suitable for buildings of fire resistance grades U1, U2 and U3
• Without an exterior finish, withstands UV radiation and precipitation for up to 6 months
• Does not absorb moisture, does not provide a favourable environment for mould; emission class M1
• Size 1200×1800 mm, thickness 30 mm (7 slabs per pack) or 50 mm (4 slabs)

Where to use

For the external walls of low-rise and multi-storey buildings, attics, mansard structures and ventilated crawl spaces, especially in places with high wind loads. The slabs are fixed with Isover RKL spacers, masonry ties with a washer or insulation plugs (about 4–6 pcs/m²), and the joints and penetrations are sealed straight away with Isover Facade or KB-3 tape.
