Isover Sauna is a rigid mineral wool slab whose surface is covered with aluminium foil. It is used to insulate sauna walls and ceilings. The foil does not let water vapour through and reflects heat, so less energy is needed to maintain the room temperature.

Where to use
For sauna walls and ceilings, and for bathroom ceilings and roof structures with high humidity, as well as a fire-safe layer in places where the structure gets very hot, for example behind a stove. The slabs are suitable for timber and metal structures in new builds and reconstruction. They are fixed mechanically to a timber frame or masonry wall, and the joints are sealed with aluminium foil tape so that vapour cannot get into the structure.
