Isover Standard 36 (KL36) mineral wool sheet, 610×1170 mm

Isover Standard 36 (KL36) are unfaced mineral wool sheets with a flexible fibre structure, and they meet lambda class 36. They are used to insulate roofs, walls, ceilings and floors in new builds as well as in reconstruction, restoration and repair. The 610 mm wide sheets are intended for metal frames with studs at 600 mm centres.

• Fire safety class A1 – non-combustible material; emission class M1
• Does not retain water, and the wool dries quickly if it gets wet
• Size 610×1170 mm, available in thicknesses of 50–150 mm
• In the pack the wool is compressed four to five times; in a multipack, 20 packs with a protective cover for outdoor storage

Where to use

For metal-framed walls, ceilings and floors, as well as roofs. If the stud spacing matches the sheet width, no additional fixings are needed, as the sheet is held in the frame by the elasticity of the fibres. For better thermal and sound insulation, the sheets are laid in several layers with staggered joints, tightly against the structure and against each other.
