Knauf Fill & Finish Light is a lightweight, ready-to-use filler made of calcium carbonate with vinyl binders that dries in air. It can be applied by hand or mechanically. Thanks to its low weight, a larger area can be covered with it, and 10 % lower shrinkage allows thicker layers to be built up.

- Improved adhesion, very easy to sand
- Layer up to 2 mm, a 2 mm layer dries in ~24 h
- Sand with 180–240 grit sandpaper
- Room temperature of at least +10 °C during work and drying

Where to use
For gypsum boards with AK edges: the joints are filled together with paper tape or Kurt tape (Q1), then skimmed over (Q2), and the whole surface is levelled to the Q3–Q4 level. After sanding, the surface is primed with Tiefengrund deep-penetration primer and painted.
