Knauf FPC Panel fire protection slab for service penetrations, 60 mm

Knauf FPC Panel is a slab with a high-density mineral wool core, with both surfaces covered by Knauf FPC Coating fire protection coating. It is used to close large service openings in fire-rated walls and floors, preventing fire and smoke from spreading through them. The slab also improves the acoustics of such walls and floors.

• The coating hinders the ingress of hot gases and reduces the temperature rise on the side not exposed to fire
• Impermeable to air, smoke and gases (tested at 600 Pa)

Where to use

Indoors – for sealing penetrations of cables and cable bundles, protective conduits, cable ladders and trays, steel, copper and multilayer pipes, as well as combustible PVC, PE, ABS, PP and PEX pipes. Classified for use in lightweight partitions as well as solid walls and floors, including CLT solid timber structures.
