Knauf Insulation Ultra Acoustic (TP115) acoustic mineral wool

Knauf Insulation Ultra Acoustic (TP115) are mineral wool slabs for sound insulation, thermal insulation and fire-safe solutions. They are made with ECOSE Technology – the binder contains no formaldehyde and the material has no added colours.

Key features

• Sound absorption coefficient αw 0.85 at 50 mm and 1.0 at 75 mm and thicker
• Thermal conductivity λD 0.037 W/mK
• Fire safety class A1 (non-combustible), fire resistance 30–90 min in Knauf systems
• Rigid and light, edges do not crumble, easy to cut, low dust, odourless
• Size 610×1250 mm, thickness 50, 75 or 100 mm

Where to use

Internal partitions and suspended ceiling systems – the slabs can be installed vertically or horizontally. In the structure the slab should be compressed by 2–3 %, so cut it 1 cm wider than the gap between the studs.
