Knauf Sockel-SM Pro adhesive and base coat mortar for the plinth zone

Knauf Sockel-SM Pro is a mineral mortar developed specifically for the plinth zone. With sealant, fibre and adhesive additives it has no capillary conductivity, so the mortar itself protects the plinth from soil moisture. It can be used as an adhesive mortar, as a base coat mortar and as a felt-float-finished top coat – no additional moisture protection is needed.

Where to use

For the plinth and places where the wall comes into contact with the soil. This mortar is used to bond thermal insulation slabs onto mineral or bitumen waterproofing, including bitumen roll material, and it serves as a bonding layer for mineral renders on such substrates. In WARM-WAND systems it is a certified adhesive mortar, base coat mortar and plinth finishing layer.
