Knauf Sperrgrund is a white isolating primer that acts as a barrier against yellow stains from soot, nicotine and other contaminants. The marble powder and limestone in its composition improve adhesion to the substrate, and the surface dries evenly, with uniform colour and texture. The primer is ready to use and reduces the absorbency of the substrate.

Where to use
For walls and ceilings before mineral decorative plasters, synthetic resin plasters (for example Knauf Addi and Knauf Kati) and dispersion paints. Suitable for almost all common building substrates, including firmly adhering wallpaper and paint. Particularly well suited to gypsum boards and gypsum fibre boards, as well as lime, cement and gypsum plaster.
