Mapei Mapelastic is a two-component, cement-based waterproofing compound with fine fillers and synthetic polymers. Mixing components A and B gives a uniform mass that is used to waterproof both vertical and horizontal surfaces. The cured coating stays elastic even at −20 °C and is resistant to UV rays, carbon dioxide, chlorides, sulphates and de-icing salts.

- A 2.5 mm layer protects against carbonation as effectively as a 30 mm layer of concrete
- Thickness of a single coat – no more than 2 mm
- High adhesion to sound, clean cement surfaces, masonry, and ceramic and marble coverings

Where to use
For waterproofing balconies, terraces, shower rooms and swimming pools. The coating can also be applied over existing coverings and is compatible with ceramic tiles, mosaic and natural stone.
