Mira 5100 Ecofix is a grey, flexible cement-based adhesive mortar used to fix expanded polystyrene (EPS) and mineral wool thermal insulation slabs to a facade. The dry mix is mixed with water and is then ready for use. The mortar is pumpable, mechanically strong and weather-resistant.
Key features
- Consumption on walls approximately 4 kg/m²
- Can be worked at temperatures of 6–25 °C, mixed mortar can be used for 2–3 h
- Further processing can begin after 24 h, fully dry in 2–3 days
- Good adhesion
Where to use
For bonding thermal insulation slabs to a facade. Suitable for concrete and masonry walls, as well as lightweight concrete and aerated concrete – for example Aeroc, Fibo or Leca blocks and expanded clay. Can also be used as the slab adhesive in the miratherm ETICS insulation system.
