Paroc BLT 3 is loose, soft stone wool that is installed in roof truss and joist structures with mechanical blowing equipment. The wool is always installed dry, and as a non-combustible material it can be used in buildings of all fire resistance grades.

- Fire safety class A1 (non-combustible material)
- Thermal conductivity λD 0.041 W/mK in open horizontal structures, λD 0.036 W/mK in sloping and horizontal roof structures
- The layer is blown thicker than the design thickness, because in use the wool may settle by less than 5 %
- In some cases it can be blown on top of old insulation, provided it is in good condition
- Bag 15 kg (0.45 m³), 60 bags per pallet
Where to use
For insulating roof truss and joist structures, both open horizontal and sloping structures. Blowing work, and instructions for preparing the structure, can be obtained from a specialist contractor.
