Paroc ROS 50 is a non-combustible stone wool slab designed for insulating flat roofs in new construction and renovation. It is laid as the only thermal insulation layer or as the top layer, and serves as a hard, fire-resistant base for most roof waterproofing membranes.

- Compressive strength 50 kPa
- Thermal conductivity λD 0.038 W/mK
- Fire safety class A1 (non-combustible material)
- Above approximately 200 °C the binder begins to evaporate – the thermal insulation properties are retained, but the compressive strength decreases
- Slab size 1200×1800 mm, thickness 40 or 50 mm
Where to use
For single-layer insulation on a concrete or metal roof deck, and for renovating existing roofs, when the new slabs are laid over the old thermal insulation and waterproofing.
