Rockwool Frontrock Plus stone wool slab for rendered facades
Rockwool Frontrock Plus is a stone wool slab for insulating rendered external walls. It improves the thermal insulation, sound insulation and fire safety of the wall at the same time, increases the energy efficiency of the building and serves as a base for render.
Key features
- Thermal conductivity λD 0.035 W/mK
- Fire safety class A1 (non-combustible material)
- All slabs have the same size – 600×1000 mm
- Thickness from 50 to 300 mm; the thicker the slab, the better the thermal performance of the wall
Where to use
In external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), for rendered facades and for insulating plinths. Once the slabs are fixed to the wall, they are covered with a reinforcing glass fibre mesh, primed and finished with decorative render. The slab thickness is chosen according to the level of thermal performance the wall needs to achieve.
