Rockwool Hardrock Max are extra-hard dual-density stone wool slabs for insulating roofs. They are used as the only thermal insulation layer or as the top layer in multi-layer insulation, and a roof membrane or other roll-type covering can be laid on them.

- Compressive strength at 10 % deformation: whole slab ≥ 70 kPa, harder side ≥ 90 kPa
- Point load ≥ 800 N, tensile strength perpendicular to the surface ≥ 10 kPa
- Thermal conductivity λD 0.040 W/mK, fire safety class A1
- Water absorption: short-term ≤ 1.0 kg/m², long-term ≤ 3.0 kg/m²
- Dimensional change at 70 °C – no more than 1 %
- Slab size 1220×2020 mm, thickness 50–150 mm
Where to use
For roofs with a membrane or other roll-material covering, where extra-hard and stable non-combustible thermal insulation is needed under the covering.
