Rockwool Steprock Super are strong, fire-safe stone wool slabs for the sound insulation of floating floors – floors that are not connected to the ceiling of the storey below. The specially arranged fibres dampen impact sound well, such as footsteps, jumping, sliding chairs and moving furniture.

Where to use
For building floating floors on a cement substrate, in cement floors and in garage floors. The thinner slabs are also suitable for airborne and impact sound insulation of intermediate floors in a dry-construction floating floor whose top layer is made of sheet materials, such as OSB-3 boards or Fermacell 2E22 gypsum fibre boards.
