Sakret KS P is a one-component potassium silicate-based primer that strengthens mineral surfaces before painting. It improves paint adhesion, evens out water absorption and at the same time retains the vapour permeability of the surface. The primer is transparent, non-combustible and environmentally friendly.
Key features
- Suitable for new surfaces and surfaces with silicate, lime, lime-cement or cement paint
- Not recommended on alkyd, acrylic, latex or silicone paint
- Prime when the air and surface temperature is at least +5 °C and the air humidity does not exceed 80 %
- Fresh concrete is primed no earlier than 2–4 weeks after construction
Where to use
For preparing mineral surfaces for painting. Apply as much primer as the surface absorbs, on a clean, sound and dry substrate; windows, doors, railings and other parts not intended for priming are carefully covered beforehand.
